Giles has been and is instructed on behalf of major companies and charities as well as individuals, acting in particular for senior executives and employees across the financial and investment banking sector, the technology sector and the health care sector. 

He is frequently instructed to act for and advise Public Bodies and Authorities including -

• NHS bodies;
• Local Authorities;
• Training Bodies;
• Transport Authorities;
• Fire Services; and
• the Police.

Giles has comprehensive experience of professional discipline and regulatory matters concerning, among others, doctors, dentists, psychologists, psychotherapists, nurses, health care employees, pharmacists, opticians, bankers, traders, financial service employees, solicitors, sports people and police officers.      

He provides advice to and acts as legal assessor for the internal regulatory and misconduct panels of a variety of public bodies including the Police, the Fire Service and NHS bodies.

Giles undertakes investigations, including disciplinary, capability, grievance, working relations, workplace conflict, equality, change project, organisational culture and other workplace investigations.  

He is a trained and qualified mediator and workplace mediator: by ADR Chambers as a mediator and by CEDR as a workplace mediator

As a result of his experience, specialisations and qualifications as a mediator he is ideally placed to undertake workplace and organiational investigations. 

He regularly lectures and gives training seminars to conferences and to small groups on all matters within his specialisations.
